The Horny Boys are a boss added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance that can appear in Gehenna Gehenna.

Behavior[]

Floats randomly around the room and cycles between the following attacks in the following order:

  • Summons a Boom Fly orbited by 3 pink Eternal Fly Bombs.
  • Juggles 3 bombs then throws them toward Isaac. Each bomb has a chance of having the Hot Bombs Hot Bombs or Sad Bombs Sad Bombs effect.
  • Chains together numerous consecutive tear patterns while gradually increasing the rate in which they are fired:
    • 4 cardinal projectiles.
    • 4 diagonal projectiles.
    • 4 cardinal projectiles.
    • 8 projectiles in all directions.
    • 12 projectiles in all directions.
    • 8 clusters in all directions, each contains 3 projectiles.
    • 10 projectiles in all directions, rotating counterclockwise.
    • 10 projectiles in all directions, rotating clockwise.
    • 4 diagonal projectiles.
    • 4 cardinal spreads, each contains 3 projectiles.
    • 4 diagonal spreads, each contains 3 projectiles.
    • 8 projectiles in all directions.
    • 4 diagonal spreads, each contains 5 projectiles.
    • 10 projectiles in all directions.
    • 8 projectiles in all directions.
    • 12 projectiles in all directions.
    • 12 projectiles in all directions.
    • 4 cardinal projectiles.
    • 4 diagonal projectiles.
    • This attack ends with Hornfel getting sick and vomiting out 3 fireballs that each extend in cardinal directions upon landing.
  • Teleports 3 times and throws out a short delay Brimstone Bombs Brimstone Bombs Bomb each time.

OR

  • Throws a Sad Bombs Sad Bombs Bomb at their feet to create a smokescreen before rapidly teleporting to another location. This attack is repeated 5 times.

  • They appear to be a conjoining of Hornfel and Loki.
    • Furthering this concept is that they appear to share attacks from both bosses.
  • In the Bestiary, they are referred to as "Horny Boys".
