The Bible is an activated item.
Effects
- Grants Isaac flight for the current room.
- Instantly kills Mom, Mom's Heart and It Lives upon use.
Notes
- Using The Bible to kill Mom, Mom's Heart or It Lives unlocks The Halo item.
- Using The Bible on Satan will kill Isaac.
- Using The Bible on Isaac, ???, The Lamb, Hush or Mega Satan has no special effect and does not kill Isaac.
- Switching from the activated Bible to a different activated item negates flight. It is advised to not pick up activated items from isolated locations with Bible flight because there will be a risk of trapping Isaac.
- In the event of Isaac getting trapped, saving and exiting from the menu, then reloading the game will respawn Isaac at the last doorway entered.

If The Bible is used on Mom with the Broken Remote trinket, it will not kill Mom and will instead teleport Isaac randomly to another room. However, this still unlocks The Halo as if Mom was killed with the Bible. |
