Red Room in the Chest?[]
Is it worth mentioning on this page how additional copies of the starting room (minus the mega satan door) can spawn on the Chest level? I recently discovered this and while it is true that the page mentions that normal and special rooms can spawn as red rooms, this instance doesn't exactly follow either, as I believe that only one room with four chests (like the starting room) normally appears. --LuminousUmbra (talk) 09:59, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
Red key greed mode Secret Room[]
While you can't open red rooms you can get access to the super secret room, that or if the generated room is a SSR it will generate.
Old Capacitor Research[]
Hiya, I'd just like to see if someone is willing to do some research for me while I'm away for a bit.
Please try using it with and without some luck and on hard mode and normal mode (as normal mode does not have tiny batteries)
Just conclude if it gives extra overall charges or not. Thanks a bunch -v
You can get in challenge rooms[]
if you use a red key on the side of a challenge room without the requirements, you can get in, but i only know that, it might close when you exit and go back in the room, but still thats all i know
Red key with Void DOES show outlines[]
The line here: Void: Door outlines will no longer appear, making the Red Key useless in most cases. However, if red rooms become visible another way, such as by holding Cracked Key Cracked Key or Soul of Cain Soul of Cain, the Red Key will function again.
no longer seems pertinent, as I had a run today with Apollyon where I voided a key and was able both to see red door outlines and use Void/Red key to open those doors, including to unlock Tainted Apollyon. Didn't touch a cracked key.
