How many spiders is this supposed to spawn? I was fighting the carrion queen in boss rush. During her diagonal movement phase, she apparently lined up perfectly with a corner of the room and got stuck there. When I killed her, something like 50 blue spiders were spawned. --timrem (talk) 13:34, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
- Maybe number of spiders is tied to number of tears performing a "killing hit"? I've got a Monstro's Lung + Tractor Beam + Death's Touch and every killed enemy leaves behind a ton of spiders. --46.50.203.162 19:23, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
- I think it scales with health, but with non-boss enemies locked at 1. So if not a boss, it is always 1, but if it is a boss, the more health, the more spiders. I need confirmation on this, but that seems to be what I'm experiencing. --172.68.54.78 16:22, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
- This bug was fixed in one of the booster packs. This also affected items like Athame where you could get multiple black hearts from a single enemy by killing it with multiple instances of Athame. --Blcd (talk) 21:14, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
Item's properties changed?[]
I think Infestation 2 now spawn blue spider when enemy get killed from environmental hazards. I saw a spider spawned when Strider died from floor spikes. --MaD FiLorvuS (talk) 08:05, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
