Greed Mode Free PHD?

I'm playing as Cain in Greed Mode, and I'm seeing an absurd rate of positive pill effects, as if negative pills cannot exist in this mode. --Dwedit (talk) 23:41, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Hardcoded RNG?

I would swear under oath that I've never gotten a good run with Cain. Enemies always seem to jump at the wrong time / in the wrong way. Items are garbage. Room layouts are the worst. Does Cain have some hidden mechanic where his RNG is just automatically worse?

Nope, that's probably just a byproduct of Cain's lower starting range which causes you to need to be closer to your targets putting you in more danger with his decreased health, and/or just you not getting lucky with the seeds for your items. Skelatone (talk) 12:10, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
