I'll need to make an account here later. Don't know how this place differs from the other either. The page could do with more specifics (decoy time, changes in AoE if any, damage specifics, synergies, etc.). Mention of the old glitches (good, bad and ugly) too if only as trivia (one aspect of this has been addressed).
It's already apparent that the bugged hits are indeed gone (as Edmund promised). Unfortunately, so to are a few other things. I'm unsure if it still gets pushed around like a bomb (or items can interact and stop this). The Holy Water-like interaction with familiars is gone (which is nice). The loss of orbital stealing is a grand shame (things that run into it used to get shredded by the likes of Sacrificial Dagger). Sort of wish BF took on our properties regarding contact based items. Decoy time feels shorter than I remember. Hopefully blast damage is as strong as ever (and not smaller either).
Regarding synergies, I would like it to be the case that Mr. Mega actually helps it this time (that or have it scale from a decent base with DMG as with tears). Sad Bombs and some of the others should have obvious benefits when paired with it. Pyromaniac in particular will be nice with it (obviously). We've very likely lost the i-frames on cast (real shame) as with thefts like those done in the old game at devil deals. Many of these things seem to have gone untested for the time being. Synergy with Brimstone Bombs
There is an unfortunate synergy that this item has with Brimstone Bombs. It appears as if the brimstone beams are able to harm the player when they come from Best Friend. If someone who knows how to edit this wiki properly could test this and potentially mention it somewhere in this page, that would be very kind of you.
