Holding down the swap button allows Tainted Eve to move independently from the blood clots.
The familiars have health and will be destroyed if they take enough damage.
Each type of heart generates a different type of blood clot:
Red Hearts: A red familiar with tears that deal 33% of Tainted Eve's damage.
Soul Hearts: A blue hush-like familiar with tears that deal 33% of Tainted Eve's damage.
Black Hearts: A black devil-like familiar with tears that deal 40% of Tainted Eve's damage and have a Dark Matter effect.
Eternal Hearts: A white familiar with tears that deal 50% of Tainted Eve's damage and have a homing effect.
Golden Hearts: A golden familiar with tears that deal 33% of Tainted Eve's damage and have a Midas' Touch effect.
Bone Hearts: A skeletal familiar with tears that deal 33% of Tainted Eve's damage and have a Compound Fracture effect.
Rotten Heart: A green familiar with tears that deal 33% of Tainted Eve's damage.
Upon activation, Sumptorium destroys any remaining blood clots and heals Tainted Eve for the same type of hearts that were used to generate them. The blood clots deal damage to enemies they pass through as they return.
If every remaining clot is killed and Tainted Eve's has only half a heart left, she is granted a Whore of Babylon-like effect and begins to use Sumptorium as a weapon that functions similar to Mom's Knife for the rest of the room.
The effect is also triggered if Tainted Eve's summons a blood clot while having no others and is left with half a heart. The summoned blood clot will use a small Mom's Knife for the rest of the room.
The type of heart drained first is decided by the following order: Golden Hearts, Eternal Hearts, Rotten Hearts, Red Hearts, then the rightmost Soul, Black, or Bone Heart.
Sumptorium will drain all of Tainted Eve's red health before draining Soul, Black, or Bone Hearts. This does not kill her.
Monstro's Lung charges slower, so you create several clots even before you attack.
Restoring Rotten Hearts acts as if you picked one up normally, replacing the rightmost Red Heart. As 1 Rotten Heart only creates 1 clot, this effectively consumes 1 half-heart every cycle of creation and restoration, making Rotten Hearts potentially dangerous to pick up.
A Sumptorium is a metal drinking straw used in the Roman Rite to receive the Blood of Christ in Holy Communion.
The only currently known way for this item to be acquired by a character other than Tainted Eve is through the Death Certificate. No actual item pools contain it.
Acquiring the item through the console commands gives it to the character in their Active Item Slot, does not spawn any of the blood clot familiars, and on use simply uses it's charge before recharging, without having any positive or negative effect
