Spelunker Hat is a passive item.

Effect

• Reveals on the map what type of room all rooms adjacent to your current room are (Shop, Sacrifice Room, etc.).
  • Can also reveal Secret Rooms, Super Secret Rooms, and Mini-Boss Rooms.
  • Reveals rooms up to 2 rooms away.
• Blocks projectiles falling from above.
  • Cannot block Mom's Foot.

Trivia

• The item is a reference to the game Spelunky.
• Despite being a light source such as the Night Light, this item does not project a beam of light.
• In the original Binding of Isaac, Spelunker Hat was not unlocked by default and had to be unlocked by beating The Caves for the first time.
