Safety Scissors is a trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth.

Effects[ | ]

Troll Bombs turn into Bomb pickups before they explode.
- Mega Troll Bombs turn into Double Bombs.
- Golden Troll Bombs turn into Golden Bombs.
- Giga bombs (thrown by Bombgaggers and Ultra War) turn into their respective Giga Bomb pickups.

Strategy[ | ]

Bombing a Bomb Bum while possessing this trinket will convert the Troll Bombs he spawns into regular Bombs. This process can be repeated indefinitely for unlimited Bomb pickups.
- These Bomb pickups can be rerolled with the D20.
Large amounts of Bomb pickups can be farmed if used against Little Horn, War, Pride, or other Troll Bomb spawning enemies or items like Anarchist Cookbook.

Notes[ | ]

The disarming effects of the Troll Bombs will apply to Chub when she swallows it, as the Bomb pickups will come out shortly after, not damaging her.
Does not affect Wrath's Bombs.
- Super Wrath's Bombs turn into their respective pickups.
Does not affect Big Horn's hot Bombs.
Does not affect Hornfel's Bombs.
