Needles are monsters that resemble a miniature Pin, and added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance DLC.
They lunge towards Isaac in an attempt to deal contact damage. Before they lunge, they are characterized by a small lump in the ground. Unlike Pin, they do not move underground relative to where they land. Instead, they teleport to a spot near Isaac before lunging. They can leap over pits and obstacles to reach Isaac if he has flight.
Needles will not leave a cloud of smoke upon spawning within a given room.

Pasty[ | ]
Pasties are skeletal variants and behave exactly like the Needles. However, when emerging off the ground, they will shoot 4 blood shots on the ordinal directions. The appearance of Pasty is similar to The Frail's in its second phase.
