Match Stick is a trinket.
Effects[]
- Gives a 10% chance of changing the room drop reward to a
Bomb. - Gives a 33% chance of adding a bomb to the rewards from opening certain Chests, destroying Tinted Rocks, or certain Machines.

- In addition to regular trinket drop sources, Match Stick may sometimes drop from TNT barrels.
- It is also dropped alongside 3 bombs when picking up Match Book.
Synergies[]
- Tick: Tick can be removed by picking up Match Stick.
- Tick + Mom's Purse / Belly Button: Match Stick can no longer remove Tick, instead moving to the second trinket slot even if Isaac already holds two trinkets.

- The pickup quote is a reference to The Simpsons, as in the episode "Das Bus", Ralph eats poisonous berries and says "They taste like burning...".
- This item is used in Challenge #9 (Demo Man).
- The Match Stick being able to replace the Tick is a reference to a common remedy for removing a tick from one's skin, which is putting a flame beside it until the tick disengages.
