(in Repentance)

Lodestone is a passive item added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Effects

  • Gives Isaac the chance to fire tears that magnetize enemies they hit, giving them properties similar to tears fired by Isaac when he has Collectible Strange Attractor iconStrange Attractor:
    • Enemies and pickups that are near magnetized enemies are pulled towards them. This includes live bombs.
    • All tears/enemy shots (from Isaac, his famliliars, and all enemies, including the magnetized one) will be strongly pulled towards magnetized enemies.
      • Enemy shots that get pulled in will now also damage enemies other than the ones that fired them.

Notes

  • The chance to fire magnetizing tears is affected by luck, reaching 100% at 10 luck.

Synergies

  • Collectible Tech X iconTech X: Changes the color of rings to gray. They still apply the magnetized effect, but the effect being applied is random for each enemy damaged with the same ring. Has increased chance of magnetizing enemy.
    • With Collectible Dr. Fetus iconDr. Fetus: Rings lose chance to magnetize enemies. Only bomb explosions will magnetize them.
  • Collectible The Ludovico Technique iconThe Ludovico Technique: Isaac's tear has a chance to magnetize and stick to enemies or bosses, making it impossible to move the tear until the enemy dies.
  • Collectible Technology iconTechnology: Changes the laser to gray, can still apply the magnetized effect. The lasers are not attracted to enemies with the magnetized effect.
  • Collectible Brimstone iconBrimstone: Changes the beam to gray, can still apply the magnetized effect. The beams are not attracted to enemies with the magnetized effect.
  • Collectible Rotten Tomato iconRotten Tomato: Enemies affected by Lodestone and Rotten Tomato will be quickly swarmed and killed by other enemies.
  • Collectible Pop! iconPop!: Magnetizing an enemy causes all active eyeball tears to rush to the enemy.

Trivia

  • When used on Dogma or its TV, the respective sprites will get fuzzier, as if the boss/TV is having signal errors.
