Dad's Ring is an unlockable passive item added in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth †.

Effect[edit | edit source]

  • Creates a ring of light around Isaac that petrifies enemies in contact.
    • Normal enemies stay permanently petrified as long as they are within the ring, whereas bosses get a standard petrification effect that stays even outside the ring but isn't permanent.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Dad's Ring has been added in Booster Pack #5, after the initial release of the DLC.
  • Dad's Ring doesn't work on the Mask enemy.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

Bug Bug! This item's visual appearance is overridden by some items rendering the ring invisible. It will still behave as normal in this state.
