- Doubles any pickups and
Chests earned for clearing a room, but has a 1/3 chance of removing the reward completely.
- Neither effect applies to trinkets.
- Doubled Chests will not necessarily be of the same kind.
- Neither effect applies to Pennies dropped in Greed Mode.
- No longer obtainable in Greed Mode.
Synergies[]
- Diplopia: Each additional Contract increases the number of room drops by one and lowers the chance of getting nothing.
- Guppy's Tail: Higher chance of double chests upon clearing a room.
- Deep Pockets: If Contract removes the reward, spawns 1-3 random coins. Allows Deep Pockets to remain useful at high luck.
- Options?: Spawns a second set of consumables. The "Options?" consumable is not guaranteed to be the same for each copy of the original consumable.

- A reference to the card of the same name from Magic: the Gathering, a collectible card game Edmund McMillen played since his childhood, this is more notable in the artwork of the [in Four Souls] where the words written in the contract are word for word identical to the ones written in the original contract from below card.
- Isaac's name is written at the bottom of the contract, implying that he signed the contract.
