The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.

Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:

Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding {{delete}} to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion.
Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.

In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. If a user must be reported here, please use {{user}}, preferably as the topic subject/headline.

Seeds notice

Can the notice about the criteria for adding a seed be changed to an edit notice, rather than sitting at the top of the page? It is ugly and makes reading the wiki more difficult. Seeds and platforms

I have done research with about 10 PC seeds I found on this wiki on my PS4 and VITA. They give me the expected result as it says for the PC-version. So I suggest to remove the information that PC and PS4/VITA should be counted separately in the seed notice. The only thing I haven't tested is seeds from PC v1.02 (PS4/VITA is on v1.01), but if that is different so should all PC seeds be wrong on this page anyway since I assume most of them are from v1.01 or earlier. --Ragowit (talk) 09:08, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

Furthermore, if you agree that seeds shouldn't be counted separately anymore, so do I suggest to add Seed into the Item-template. Why? First of all, thanks for leaving a message here instead of going to war! While User:Anemicne can be slightly overzealous at times, he got a point here. Your writing style is inconsisten with that of a wiki's there. When editing an article, you have to avoid directly adressing the reader and go for third person for example. I just finsihed porting the full set of Help:Rules to the wiki so if you ever want to know how to handle things, I suggest looking it up there under "Manual of Style". Don't worry it's not a graven problem, but it's nice to have consistenty across all articles. Does this site still have active admins?

According to DoomZero, "Everything will be renamed appropriately soon" but it has been over 6 months now and no renaming has been done. This is irksome, especially after I have personally volunteered to do the work. Furthermore, the last post by an admin in this thread was in December of last year; many issues await administrative input on both this page and the accompanying talk page (Binding of Isaac Rebirth Wiki talk:Admin noticeboard). Can one or more new admins be chosen from the Rebirth community? I would love to have the wiki be a permanent repository for all of the newly discovered Rebirth mechanics, but without a proper leadership team I feel hesitant to invest any sort of time into a resource that the prominent members of the community have no direct control over. --Zamie (talk) 16:41, 14 July 2015 (UTC)

Higher Quality Image

Under "monsters", the image for Baby Long Legs registers as only it's face, rendering it unidentifiable. When editing the page it shows up properly, though. It must be fixed or else nobody will know what that enemy is.

The new page regarding the alt floor ??? where Hush is located must be incorrect. The Blue Womb cannot be ??? because 0% has unlocked the achievement. --Anon

Seeds Idea

Should there be a section on the seeds page for random seeds? As in, someone can post a fun seed or a seed they enjoyed there. A little like the reddit page; "You have to play this seed". --Anon

The Lost can no longer be unlocked by using seeds

Due to a recent patch, The Lost is no longer unlocked if seeds are used on any character in the process of unlocking. The helpful seeds section of the page should be removed, or at least noted. --Anon

Please reconsider looking into this. I personally have proven that seeds no longer work. I have no mods installed, nor have I ever had any mods installed and after completing the steps, using a seed as Isaac, The Lost was not unlocked. I then tried again without using any seeds and it worked. I believe this is a result of the most recent patch. --Anon

Item ID redirects

I want to be able to easily construct a link to the wiki page for any item, given that I know the item id for that item. I currently think the best way to accomplish this is to add a redirect page in the name of each item id that points to the appropriate item page. For example, I made Item/1 as a test. (the sad onion has item id 1). Are ya'll on board with me doing this? Talk Page Error / Notifying Administrators

I get this error: "This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. When I try to create a section at Talk:The Lost with headline "Two Suggestions" and content:

Two suggestions: 1. In the Helpful Seeds section, add an internal link for "Book of Belial" to The Book Of Belial. 2. In the Positive items subsection (of the General Strategies section), add the Belial book, because The Lost can take devil deals for free and the Belial book guarantees such rooms (see above).

Gemini (Item) reference error report

On the Item page, as well as on the Signs Of The Zodiac page, the item Gemini references to "Gemini_(Item)" using a template (curly braces), but when clicking on the link it references to the boss. Every page on the wiki has an enormous black space above it.

It seems that every single page on this wiki has an enormous black space above the actual content of the page. Tarot Card "The sun" has an un-noted effect

The tarot card "The Sun" insta-kills the boss "The Fallen".

If he's at full health, it will bring his health down all the way forcing him to split. If you use it on the split versions, again, even with full health, it will insta-kill them.

The Fallen only has 60 HP, and so do the mini-Fallen. As such, The Sun (which deals 100 damage to everything in the room) will instakill either The Fallen or the mini-Fallen, but not both at once. --JokerPixel (talk) 02:52, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

A change on Delirium's trivia wasn't allowed.

I added a bit of trivia to Delirious's page, which states that they're immune to the chaos card. This is incorrect, as if they transform into a boss with multiple hitboxes, like Chub, hitting the secondary hitbox will kill it in one hit. Word for word what I edited was ", except for when he changes into an enemy like Chub with multiple hitboxes. If the secondary hitbox is hit by a chaos card, it will kill Delirium in one hit." However, it was disallowed, saying that some words were disallowed. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

It looks like your edit got caught in the spam filter due to the link to the Chub page. Page Movements

This wiki needs more accommodations for page moves. The movement category has not been created, nor is it part of the Special Page list on the wiki. Concerning Page Truncation

Pages such as Items or Pickups show only the tabs for Rebirth or Afterbirth. It used to be (not sure for how long) that if you used a page like this the entire page had all tables and not just the description under what is now two tabs. By default it would be more efficient for both mobile and desktop users to be able to see all tables separated by headers, which can then be filtered by hitting the tabs at the top. Since I cannot edit these pages in that way, I brought it to your attention.

Additionally pages on mobile view with these tabs cannot be properly viewed in their current form. Namely, pages such as Transformations this is kind-of a huge problem that makes the wiki look completely devoid of information if you are using an IOS device. ~~~~ Saml214

I've got some Enemies and Bosses that The Binding of Isaac Rebirth Wiki need to be added: - Black Angels: I know they have only other color than Normal Angels, but they can be added in Angels. - Poop: Poop that will be created after using flash! or e_coli. There's also need to make Blue womb and Greed mode category in Monsters and add there Hush monsters (Hush fly,Blue Gaper,Blue Boil) and Greed Gaper...

There's no blue_conjoined_fatty in the_chest category...

Found an exploit for the Lost (or in general)

I noticed that you can get an essentially never-dying run by exploiting Guppy's Collar. If you do die with it (and it doesn't respawn you), when it shows the game over screen (Isaac's Last Will), close the game. Do *not* click to go back to the main menu, just close the box BoI is being played in. Restart the game, click continue run, you will either die immediately and go back to the Last Will, or you will die and respawn outside the room you died in (because of the collar), where you can continue the game. If you do die permanently, just close the game and restart it like above, making sure you continue the run you were on until the collars effect allows you to respawn in the room before. I thought this was valuable for fights against Hush with the Lost. I tried to edit the Lost strategies page, but couldn't do it myself, wasn't sure whether it was locked or something. Also wasn't sure if people knew about this already...

Not all Monsters yet

I think you might forget special monster boss variants. (Also sorry for ,,Why i can't do it... the reason is my bad-knowledge about web coding). I know you guys remind them in non-variant monster but they are need to be in monster list. I don't know all of them but still you miss two of them not grated to list:

Cage Vis: Boss variant that can be spawned by The Cage. Brown fluid without red brimstone.
Ragvive: I only name it by mixing ragling with word "Revive"... Have little different changes like revive possibility or even special looking.

DLC parameter

Should we replace the "afterbirth=yes" and "afterbirth+=yes" parameters on templates by "dlc=Afterbirth" and "dlc=Afterbirth+"? I did it on the French wiki to clarify it recently. I started to contribute to this wiki recently, thus I understand the first point. However, this is not a huge work. I can do it with a bot quickly, once the templates have been modified. So... I'm fine with having 1 variable (dlc) which can have 2 parameters ("afterbirth" and "afterbirth+") as opposed to separate variables that respond to "yes" or "no." This would not affect them, because the parameter "Afterbirth" of Template:MasterInteraction doesn't serve to write if the interaction was added by Afterbirth or not. Typically, we don't allow other languages here on this domain (bindingofisaacrebirth.gamepedia.com). There is a French Wiki at the domain (bindingofisaacrebirth-fr.gamepedia.com), so it may be possible to get a domain under Gamepedia for a Japanese BOI Wiki, but I'm not entirely sure how one would go about getting that registered. The translations have to reside on the wiki for a time to show commitment to the translation project before we invest the resources in a new subdomain. Translations should follow the translation guidelines.
