'M is a trinket added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
Effects
- When picked up, using an active item rerolls it into a completely different active item.
Notes
- When used in combination with a one-use active item, like Eden's Soul, the used active item will disappear before being transformed to a new one.
- Using an open Book of Virtues while holding 'M will only reroll the active item that the Book is holding, but not reroll the Book of Virtues.
- If the player has two active items after having obtained Schoolbag, only the active item that was used will reroll. The second active item remains unchanged.
- Using the time reversal effect of Glowing Hour Glass will counteract the switching of items provided by this trinket, then finding it will result in the breaking of the chain of fetching for a specific activable item.

Missing No., the name 'M is a reference to a glitch from the Generation I Pokémon games, often thought of as a counterpart to MissingNo. itself. This is also referenced by its appearance, as random jumbles of pixels is very similar to the corrupted sprites you would see from an sprite error in Generation I Pokémon games. - The description is a combination of Broken Remote and D6's description, "It's broken" and "Reroll your destiny".
